On the night of September 23, a commercial cargo ship flying the flag of Antigua and Barbuda was struck and caught fire in the Black Sea, the Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority and regional officials reported. The vessel's captain, a Ukrainian citizen, was killed; the rest of the crew was evacuated by Ukrainian naval forces and the fire was extinguished. The vessel's name, IMO and MMSI were not officially released.
